Awamaki is a nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to connecting Andean artisan weavers with global markets. They collaborate with women artisans to support their efforts towards educational and financial independence.

Awamaki aims to help women’s cooperatives learn to start and run their own businesses. They do this through our programs in women’s artisanal cooperatives and sustainable tourism. Their partner cooperatives weave, knit, spin and sew. They offer training in quality control, product development and technical skills improvement.
