ORIGIN: Awamaki is a community-driven nonprofit social enterprise working closely with Quechua artisans in Peru's Sacred Valley. Each skein is handspun using the traditional puska, an ancestral Andean spinning tool dating back to pre-Inca times. The yarn is then colored using natural dyes, preserving generations of textile knowledge and celebrating the artistry of handmade craftsmanship.
